Real Consumers. Simulated real-life experimental tasks.
Clinical study in our WebLab is conducted with a sample of target consumers. In the lab, a customized set of experimental tasks under simulated and controlled conditions are developed to study cause and effect relationships. The lab also allows for multiple methods of data collection such as questionnaires, screen recordings, click streams, biometric measurements, retrospective recalls, and qualitative debrief sessions. Only when all sets of data converge can conclusions be developed.

WebLab
The lab is equipped with specialized workstations with dual channel recording for screen capture and user face video capture. All computer screens can be viewed remotely in real time. The lab is constantly being upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment such as eye trackers and other bio-metric devices.

Website Testing Suite
Record user interaction with a Web site or application, including desktop activity, audio, camera video and a complete chronicle of system events, all synchronized into a single file.

Collaboratively watch the user experience with your entire team, mark important moments when they happen, and easily track task start and end points. Quickly and automatically analyze data, calculate usability metrics, and build graphs.

From the lab, C3R can easily assemble graphs and important moments from the recording into a highlight video to share.

Eye -Tracker
Accurately measures both conscious and unconscious reactions to stimuli and choices presented to the respondent. Instead of relying solely on verbal and conscious responses, eye tracking offers the ability to measure and visualize spontaneous and emotional responses to your communication.

The eye tracker is discretely integrated into a monitor without any visible or moving "tracking devices." Test subjects are allowed to move freely in front of the tracker. This non-intrusiveness ensures that respondents behave naturally, thus providing you with valid data, and allows you to perform long studies without fatigue for the respondent or reduced quality of data.

With eye tracking, you can measure what elements engage and hold people's attention, which visual cues drive users effectively, how decisions are made and much more.

Perception Analyzer Dials
The lab is equipped with The Perception Analyzer (PA) technology for collecting data from groups. Participants use hand-held dials to answer questions, give feedback and communicate opinions. Resulting data points are instantaneously displayed via computer to moderators, viewing clients, event facilitators and instructors, allowing the opportunity to see results from a variety of question formats.

Using the wireless handheld dials, respondents instantly provide anonymous and unbiased feedback to questions asked by the moderator. The feedback is aggregated and the resulting data points are instantaneously displayed on the viewing monitors of the moderator and back-room client. Circumvent dominant respondents and minimize negative group dynamics while giving more passive respondents an equal voice.

Share selected results with respondents to better reach or discuss group consensus. It is an ideal tool for working with small groups, eliminating the need for paper and pencil surveys, and helping to eliminate the bias that dominant group members can create. The PA allows you instant access to the group results, letting you determine what direction you would like to take the discussion.

Gain greater insight into how the entire group is feeling by asking traditional and more advanced question types such as discrete choice, intensity scale, trade-off, XY and Moment-To-Moment. Compare results from the dials (nonverbal) to the open discussions for similarities and differences. Immediately see how the group feels, in aggregate or individually, and be able to subset your respondents appropriately. Use this information to select those you wish to send to break-out sessions following the main focus group.
