Samar Das

Samar is the founder / CEO of C3Research and directs the Center for Brand Research. Samar has directed brand strategy and customer service research projects for several large organizations such as a Fortune 100 CPG company, a media group, a global bank, a national theme park, a major hospital group, a university, a biotech startup, and several consumer marketing companies. Prior to founding C3Research, he was as an award winning marketing professor at the University of Central Florida, where he taught MBA classes on marketing strategy and Ph.D. seminars on Consumer Behavior. Early in his career as a marketing professional, he led a national consumer marketing team for Berger Paints in India and launched several successful national brands.
Joseph Plummer

Joe is a senior adviser assisting the team in brand and advertising research. Joe had a stellar career as the Global Executive Vice President of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup in New York, Vice Chairman DMD&B New York, and Executive Vice President, Young and Rubicam New York. In his most recent assignment, he was Chief Research Officer of the Advertising Research Foundation. Joe sits on the board of several companies, and is also an Adjunct Professor at the Columbia Business School.
Raj Echambadi

Raj is a prolific researcher in marketing and strategy issues. He has published award winning papers in top international strategy journals. He has also written academic papers in developing new statistical methods for use in marketing research. He is an expert in developing individual and aggregate-level marketing models that assess Return on Loyalty Investments. His Ph.D. dissertation documented the phenomenon of variability in customer loyalty across territorial markets and developed factors to explain this variability. In addition, Raj has also worked on developing factors that explain brand extension success, and assessing the impact of technological innovations on firm survival and performance. As the director of C3R, he interfaces with academic researchers around the country on behalf of C3R and is responsible for developing cutting-edge analytical and research capabilities for C3R. Raj has a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston and is currently an Associate Professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jessica Kuack
Vice President,
Consumer Research
Jessica heads the Consumer Research Group at C3Research and manages a team of Research Executives and Associates. In her five years with C3Research after graduating with a marketing degree from UCF, she has managed major consumer research and customer satisfaction studies for several national and local clients. She is also an expert moderator and qualitative researcher and conducts focus groups and individual in-depth interviews.
Judy Harris

Judy has an insatiable curiosity about why consumers behave the way they do. Her research has been published in top marketing journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Advertising Research, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Retailing, etc. Judy is a senior research fellow at C3Research and directs qualitative and experimental research at the Center for Brand Research. Judy is also working on a number of applied R&D projects in the C3R Center for Brand Research. Judy obtained her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston.
Carolyn Massiah

Carolyn specializes in intergroup relations among consumers within the Services Marketing and Consumer Marketing domains such as consumption experiences, commercial friendships, commercial social support, ethnic consumptions, nested identities, sense of community, and social networks. She is an experienced qualitative researcher and has conducted numerous studies using qualitative methodologies.
Mike Luckett

Mike is an extremely adroit consumer researcher. He has a gift of connecting with people and understanding them as consumers. He blends his deep understanding of consumer behavior with his skill in communicating with individuals and groups to provide powerful insights and revelations about consumer behavior. He has published his research in Marketing Letters, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of Consumer Marketing. He works with C3Research in projects as qualitative researcher and group moderator. Clients who have seen Mike moderating a focus group say he is probably one of the best in the field. Mike holds an MBA and Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Georgia.
